The actio spes unica organization was founded to resist the re-orientation of the Catholic Church initiated by the Second Vatican Council, particulary the new dogmatics opposing Catholic tradition and Pope Paul VI's New Order of Mass.

Maintaining the chapel St. Athanasius we provide the possibility to attend the Traditional Latin Mass in the area of Frankfurt, Germany. The celebration of the Masses and the pastoral care of the parish is within the hands of the Society of Saint Pius X.

Regular Mass times are 8:00a.m. and 10:00a.m. on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation. You can find an up-to-date Mass schedule at our german website - search for "Messe" (Mass) or "Hochamt" (High Mass).

Actio spes unica is, and has always been, closely associated with the Society of Saint Pius X. If you would like to learn more about our Catholic Faith and why we oppose the modernist changes of the Conciliar Church, follow these links to find more information:

The international pages of the General House in Switzerland provide a short introduction to the Society and links to its districts around the world.

The website of the Society in Great Britain answers the most frequently asked questions on the fraternity and its relationship to Rome. It also contains a short history of the Society.

The pages of the United States district  add further FAQs and provide comprehensive information on theological issues and questions of Catholic liturgy, morale and tradition.
